Its consistency is slightly elastic and firm and its rind is dark yellow, uniform, without spots or steaks.

How to best savor them
Our Filone, once purchased, keep well in the refrigerator at temperatures between 0 and 4°C for a period of 5 days from the date of production.
To best enjoy their balanced flavor, we suggest serving them after having removed them from the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Try it like this
Filone affumicato
Cut the Filone Affumicato into slices. Put each slice of mozzarella first in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the bread crumbs.
Heat the griddle, arrange the breaded mozzarella and then pour a little oil on them. Let them fry for a few minutes without making them melt.
